Circus Akimbo Covid-19 Policy
Circus Akimbo is committed to the health and safety of its staff and students and will be following any and all guidelines from NSW Health.
Our policy, as of 27 September 2021 is as follows:
Circus Akimbo requires any person attending an adult class to have received both doses of any COVID-19 vaccination (Astra-Zeneca or Pfizer). We will also require proof of vaccination, such as a vaccination digital certificate or a vaccine passport.
For Youth Circus and Junior Circus classes, vaccination is not required for children under 16, but if a vaccination record is available, Circus Akimbo may request it. For children 16 and over, Circus Akimbo requires students to have received both doses of any COVID-19 vaccination and will require proof of vaccination as above.
For Playgroup or Jugglebugs classes, Circus Akimbo requires the adults accompanying their children to have received both doses of any COVID-19 vaccination and will require proof of vaccination.
Circus Akimbo will keep proof of vaccination on file indefinitely. This information will be kept internally and will not be distributed to any third parties.
Circus Akimbo reserves the right to refuse entry to the studio if any of the above requirements are not met. Further, if you are experiencing cold or flu symptoms, Circus Akimbo strongly advises that you do not attend any classes and you may be refused entry to the studio regardless of vaccination status.
Masks are required for any visitors i.e. for any person not enrolled in a class, when in the waiting area, or immediately outside the studio. Any visitors not attending a class must wait outside the studio.
This policy is subject to change pending any changes to NSW law or NSW Health guidelines.
